Owners Frances Santarella and business partner Liz Kincaid, offer classic French dishes w/ local flair from Award Winning Chef Chef Alex Enggist. With a Swiss Master Chef as a father, Alex's upbringing in a French kitchen meets his love of local, Virginia foods to create Shrimp & Grits, Baked Alaska, Foie Gras Mousse, local breads and house made desserts. We still boast a second floor dining room overlooking Broad Street's Art's District w/ a more casual pub environment downstairs and a new 40 seat patio. Yes, you can purchase online (https://www.maxsonbroad.com/gift-cards) and have an e-gift card sent, or we could handle the transaction over the phone (804-225-0400) or in person and we could mail it USPS to your recipient. Hope this helps!

I believe they have vegetarian selections, certainly some of their fabulous soups, but can't list them without a menu nearby. There's always beer ? as a vegetarian option...

Casual indeed, no tennis shoes or shorts if possible.

We usually use the valet which is free but you should tip the attendants.
